our goal

This mural represents Education, it is part of a three section mural located in an ice cream shop in a small Texas town. The other two sections are Happiness and Love. Wood County Walls is dedicated to all three sections. We love to Educate youth on the mural process. They Happily work together to produce community murals and they absolutely Love the results they achieve!
Wood County Walls started out as a leg of Flint and Steel Coalition, a local non-profit, with just a few people coming together to do what they love. Little did they know that it would grow into the thriving Community Art Program it is today. Our dedicated youth and young adult members enjoy developing and implementing different events and activities. Passion and enthusiasm go hand-in-hand with everything we do. Our door is always open to new members, no matter their experience level. We are proud to bring together youth and young adults from all over Wood County and beyond. Join us at our next event — we’d love to have you become a part of our community art projects.
